Kalzip TF37-800R

Suitable for both new build and refurbishment

The distinctive Kalzip TF37-800R aluminium profiled cladding provides a distinctive and functional solution for horizontal or slightly pitched building elevations.

The clean-cut appearance of the profile enhances the effect of light and shade across the façade area and is ideal for projects where a non industrial appearance is required. Lasting protection for the existing building structure is offered due to its compatibility with a variety of substructures, such as metal, concrete and wood.

Lightweight and flexible the TF37-800R façade is available in a comprehensive range of colour coatings and is supported by a selection of special details that have been developed to provide perfect interfaces with other building elements and systems.

   

Kalzip® TF 800 R facade profile is only suitable for horizontal or slightly pitched building elevations.

It is not suitable as a roofing cladding material. Fixing takes place within the narrow lower brace between the ribs

  • either inside each rib or always in line with the longitudinal joints
  • according to the structural requirements.

Fastening devices:

Bolts with inside torx drive, JT3-FR-6-5, 5 xL E10 or Irius drive system SX-L 12-A10-5, 5xL

Technical data

Material EN AW-304 according to DIN 573-3 respectively Hogal 5555, high physical properties; good malleability.
Dimensions TF 800 R 1.0 and 1.2mm gauge, structural width 800mm. Profile length 6m, profile height 35mm.
Bearing capacity according to national standards (in Germany DIN 18807, see load span tables).
Colours and finishes RAL standard colours, TitanColor, SoftColor and AntiGraffiti finishes according to Kalzip®/Kalbau® colour index,
special colours and finishes are available on request and to special order.
Substructure Vertical girders or spacing elements.

With the very latest surface finishing and processing technology Kalzip offers an almost unlimited choice of colours in a range of effects and finishes.

Colour coated Kalzip aluminium products meet the stringent demands of modern building technology and design with regards to colour fastness, adhesion and resistance against aggressive substances and environments, and are available in a wide variety of standard RAL colours with a choice between HighPerformanceCoating (HPC), polyester or PVdF coatings.

Kalzip profiled sheets are available in three standard pre-coated systems:

  • Polyester coil coated
  • Polyvinylidene flouride (PVdF)
  • HighPerformanceCoating (HPC)

Maximum possible load spans in m.

According to German DIN 1055, part 4 (wind loading). For a safe rating the national valid standard for wind loading must be taken into consideration in each case. According to wind load distribution stated below.

Design recommendation: Sheet length L ≤ 6mm or special measures provided for absorbing the temperature deformations.

The table applies to single-span beams without overlapping for itself connected with the substructure. If single-span beams are constructed successively overlapping with a common connection with the substructure, then proof for the connections must be furnished seperately. In order to simplify matters, the load bearing width may be halved or, if possible from a design point of view, the number of connection elements doubled.
