Foundations
The first step in the construction process is the laying of the foundations. Depending on the strength of the ground, different types of foundations can be used.
Foundation connections
Where lower loads are required or better ground conditions are prevalent then pad or strip foundations may be used. These comprise of a reinforced concrete pad that distributes the loading from the structure to a level that can be resisted by the ground.
