Festival Park, Basildon
2008
This development of 17 warehouse and logistics units completes the Festival Park project in Basildon, Essex. The 53,797m² project – comprising units ranging in size from 1,509 to 8,001m² – is a speculative development that completed in summer 2006.

This 17 building programme comprises warehouses, logistics units and office spaces which can accommodate a range of different tenants. The buildings embody a range of different cladding technologies and solutions, including composite panels for the office elements and built-up cladding for the warehouses.
Corus Panels and Profiles has established market supremacy in supplying composite and built up roof and walling systems that allow for flexible design solutions needed to meet the different building use needs called for at Festival Park, yet still able to create buildings that meet high levels of air tightness by providing a high performance, thermally efficient building envelope.
Easter Properties were so impressed by the advice and guidance that the Colorcoat® Business Development Team (BDT) offered at every stage of the project that they were prepared to change the specification of the pre-finished steel on the walls. The initial Colorcoat Celestia® specification was changed to the more durable Colorcoat Prisma® on the basis of the additional market leading Confidex® Guarantee and the 25 years cover it brings.
