Managed by Tata Steel, the Platinum® System Guarantee is completely free of charge and covers material performance and workmanship, providing peace of mind for up to 25 years.

As part of Tata Steel, a truly global company, we are able to offer the total reassurance afforded by this unique new guarantee scheme. The guarantee covers all the Tata Steel building envelope solutions including insulated panel systems, built-up systems and roof decking profiles.

An unrivalled market position has also enabled Tata Steel to develop robust and innovative supply chain partnerships with ancillary component manufacturers.

Third party ancillary components covered under the Platinum® System Guarantee include:

• Fixings
• Sealants
• Fillers
• Fabrications
• Spacer systems
• Insulation
• Fall arrest systems etc

Platinum® approved suppliers are selected on the basis of their ability to meet stringent technical criteria set for each component.

Each supplier enters into a 25 year back-to-back guarantee with Tata Steel. Annual reviews are carried out with suppliers and back-to-back guarantees are reviewed every two years following review. Inspections are carried out regularly to check the quality of components.

The Platinum® System Guarantee offers the freedom to choose from the list of Platinum® approved contractors, who undertake the installation.

Platinum® approved contractors enter into twelve year agreement on a project by project basis with Tata Steel. The approved contractor network is reviewed every two years. Workmanship is continually checked on-site to ensure that systems are accurately and expertly installed, without compromise.

Tata Steel act as a single point of contact managing the various product guarantees from the beginning of the project and throughout the guarantee period. The client always has a direct link to Tata Steel in the unlikely event of a building failure.

The guarantee is also transferable with the ownership of the building, providing improved letting potential.

The Tata Steel technical department offer advice and guidance on the most appropriate solution that meets current Building Regulations and building requirements. An NBS Platinum® Specification is then generated.
