Technical information
With over 150 in-house roll sets, Tata Steel can offer a full scope of widths, steel gauge and lengths tailored to individual needs. Normal size ranges within the following limits for coil strip widths:
1325mm wide up to a thickness of 1.5mm
650mm wide up to a thickness of 7.5mm*
Tolerance on profile dimensions are generally +/-0.4mm; custom tolerances can be agreed for certain requirements
There are virtually no length restrictions
Tata Steel cold formed sections are quality assured to ISO 9002
Sections can be 100% recycled
