Bi-Steel to exhibit at Counter Terror Expo 2010

Bi-Steel will be exhibiting at Counter Terror Expo 2010, to be held at London Olympia, 14/15 April 2010. This exhibition is one of the UK’s premier security events and is focused on enabling organisations wishing to enhance their protection against terrorist attack to see the latest solutions from a wide range of specialist providers.

Over 250 suppliers will be exhibiting at the show and product areas will include blast protection, vehicle security barrier systems, access control, perimeter security and intrusion detection, CCTC/Covert Surveillance Systems and CBRN Detection and Protection.

Running alongside the exhibition is the event Conference, and a series of free-to-attend workshops, where industry experts will be providing updates on current ways to prepare for, and defend against, terrorist attack. Bi-Steel’s Operations Director, Dr Jurek Tolloczko, an industry expert in blast protection, will be giving a presentation on how existing structures, and new build, can best be protected against terrorist attack involving the use of explosive devices.  His session is entitled ‘Protective Construction: Where, when and how?’ and it will take place in the exhibition venue at 11.25 am on 14 April.

On Stand G20 at Counter Terror Expo, Corus will be showing how its unique Bi-Steel material is used to provide blast protection for buildings and to create high performance security barriers to protect from attack by vehicle borne improvised explosive devices.
